Abused Child Trust

Friday I went to the luncheon for the Abused Child Trust, held every year at the Carlton Crest Hotel. It's all designed to raise money for abused children, but I was there because I was in the television commercial that will launch the new campaign. There were a couple of hundred people there, perhaps a lot more, including some new Miss Australia girl, Grant Hackett, and a few other "celebrities".

The food was great, Kay McGrath told some jokes about erections, and they played the commercial. It came together well, looks very moody. I'm in one shot which is a close up, before I turn into a monster.

Eventually the auction started, but the first bid on the first item was $1000, so I thought this is way out of my league and then headed off. I went home for a while then drove into the city to pick Veronica up. We went to Rosalie for a while for coffee and a good chat. Drove her home about 7:30pm, then went to Tim's for a nice long chat, before arriving home about 12:30am. Such a social day!
