A few changes

It's amazing how suddenly things can change. Yesterday Veronica left for Townsville, tomorrow I start my new job, and today I paid off my biggest credit card.

She stayed over my place Friday night and I drove her to the airport on Saturday morning. Her mum Denise, sister Tina and nephew Cooper were there as well to see her off. Her plane left at 9am. Going to be strange for a while, not having her around, but I know it's something she really wants to do so of course I wish her all the best.

Later on Saturday I had to return to the airport to pick my Mum up who had been down in Sydney for a while. Drove her home then I headed home.

Today, Sunday, I was in town in the morning doing some shopping, then in the afternoon there was a huge storm. In fact there was so much rain that there was a 'white-out'. Everything just went white all around as the rain was so hard. After a while the kitchen ceiling starting leaking and I had to get three buckets to catch the water dripping down.

Am not overly fussed about the new job. It's just retail work, though the money is better than at my previous job. At least it's closer to home.
